Go Fund Me…? NOT

So after talking to the marvelous Lizzo Marek and her awesome steam punk food truck, an idea of raising $ through go fund me crossed my mind but turned down by my husband. He said we have to try ourselves to do the food truck, let go fund me for those who are more in need (for health reasons and such).

I have not taking any orders much since the birth of our second and with single income in the house, I have no idea yet how we will continue with the food truck ha-ha But hey, at least we have the ‘truck’ for now 😉

New Logo

Status

So we have a new logo now and I think we will use it for good from now on, as in making new business card etc.

My bro made it 🙂 I think it looks sweet. Get it? Lol 😉sweet 2(1)

Free But Darn It (Rookie Mistake)

So we started getting stuffs that we will need for the food truck. An awesome fridge is one (pictured above), from a work colleague. Works great but come to think of it, my cakes usually are tall, wide, big, etc and they won’t fit nicely in this fridge. So we might have to get a more suitable fridge.

We were also given a working oven (we haven’t tried it on though), by the owner of IT, a local business in town. Very grateful for it but then we learned we cannot have this oven for food truck as it has different plug in. So we will store it away for now and think of something. Maybe try to sell it and the $ will go toward purchasing an oven that is (again) suitable for food truck.

So hahaha Yep! Food Truck Rookie Mistake 😉

There is a bun in the oven

Status

So yeah, we have been away for too long from the page, sorry for that! There is a bun in the oven, baking good, and we still have 5 weeks away to ‘enjoy it’ 🙂

We created some goodies from time to time but no major fondant work as we are relaxing during this pregnancy.

We have turned down many cake orders, bittersweet. We really want to stay active and creative but the pregnancy comes first, so we had to say no to returning and also new clients :-/

Next year hopefully we will fully return by February, at least.

There are pictures to upload, but we are in that lazy state still, let’s blame the pregnancy 😉

So if you don’t see any progress on the site, bare with us!

July-August

Status

So about 13 days ago we received another e-mail from DA of Taylor. The schedule is getting clear for the baking class now. It will be from July to August. I will share more info in near future 🙂

District of Taylor

Status

We were contacted by an official from  District of Taylor yesterday. They’d like to know if we could spare our time to teach baking and decorating. How awesome is that? And the best part? It’s for kids 🙂

Supposedly it’s their summer camp program. We have replied to them and we’ll keep you posted!
