Say whaaat….? 2017????!!!!

Holy moly!

Not only am I the lousiest baker that keep turning down people, am also the laziest website updater it seems!

In all honesty, the boss in the house is my 3 yo, like s-e-r-i-o-u-s-l-y

It has been 4 years now that we don’t really do cakes. Orders keep coming in but we keep saying sorry, we are not taking orders for now :-/ My 3 yo is really a mama’s little one. Apart of me is sad that I didn’t and still don’t create much for the past 4 years, my fingers always itching to work on modelling paste and its friends, the other part keep telling me that my kids are more precious than my caking-arts, which is absolutely true, esp. on their young years.

I really don’t know how to juggle as both of my kids are light sleepers. So when other bakers can work at bed time, I cannot. My 7 yo still wakes up between sleeps, and so does his little brother. And me? A monster fighter and a repeat offender…errr I mean nursery rhyme repeat singer *grin* You know, like a broken record, singing the same song (as I know not many hahahahaha) over and over again until they fall back asleep.

So, yeah, not much happening to blog about, but enjoy the new pictures uploaded!

Target Is Closing

So Target is closing across Canada starting a couple of months ago, but only earlier we were able to check it out, which we didn’t think about much sooner, sadly!

Many of stuffs that could be used for the cake business, all sold out. What was left was the 3 sinks that was priced for 1800 CAD, freezer that was priced for 1050 CAD, and stuffs that we don’t need. Bread shelves, oven, etc all gone.

Well early birds get the…whatever haha

Patient grasshopper, need not to rush! (But man, it’s 2015 already!)

And HI all! Been long time no posting, sorry! Caking has been put on hold up to now (we only took a few orders due to….live). We are coming up with a new project even, but hopefully we can synchronized it with the sweets business 😉

 

Happy New Year

Status

I know, I know, it is already the 13th day of the new year. The site has not been updated for awhile. New pics are not uploaded yet, and in fact, I think old pics will be deleted soon as I am adding new logo to those pictures.

We have not been active in the kitchen. Quite a few possible clients were turned down since last year and even in the early 2015, and to be honest, we do not know yet when we will return decorating cakes!

We have been somewhat addicted to instructables.com, though! We uploaded a couple step-by-step cake making there (were entered for contests but we have not found our luck, yet! ha-ha), if you’d like to check them out (I will make a separate blogs about them with links to make it easier to find us there).

That being said, I know we must not be sooooo lazy in updating The Making page! Will share some soon 🙂
