This cake was entered to Canadian Living contest of Great Canadian Cakes 2012. It is made of differ kinds of brownies and was almost as tall as our then 2 yo boy 🙂

  1. As you can see I drew first, blah, I dont like drawing lol, I dont know how to 🙂
  2. Bake the cake that you wish to use, I used brownies, as I wanted to get that rough stone effect
  3. Once baked, I cut them and try to match the drawing
  4. Then I made some changes to the legs area
  5. Of course, seeing is believing, once I laid them as I pictured them would be, I tried stacking them up
  6. There were 2 wooden dowels “nailed” to the base; my husband made two holes for them on the base. The cakes were stacked and secured with the dowels., up to this point
  7. Keep stacking them up, and this time wooden skewers help to secure them. The cake wasnt covered thickly with buttercream, just enough, so the texture wont disappear.
  8. Cover with fondant, paint them, and decorate with fondant polar bear and grated coconut as the snow.
